HotelEye is Pakistan's government guest registration portal, built by PITB and connected to NADRA. The Punjab Information of Temporary Residents Act 2015 requires every hotel, hostel, guesthouse, and short-term rental — including Airbnb and Booking.com listings — to register guests within 24 hours of arrival.

Log in to your province's HotelEye portal with the credentials issued when your property was registered with the local police, then add each guest's CNIC number, name, address, and stay dates in the guest-entry section. The steps are the same on every provincial portal — only the reporting deadline differs (24 hours in Punjab, 3 hours in Sindh), so the safest habit is to file at check-in. Under the Punjab Information of Temporary Residents Act 2015, failing to register guests can carry up to six months' imprisonment and a fine of PKR 10,000–100,000, with similar penalties under the other provincial Acts. Enforcement keeps tightening — Punjab extended the rule to every guest house in 2025, Islamabad police log tens of thousands of entries a week, and district police (for example Jacobabad in Sindh in early 2026) keep issuing compliance directives.
